The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) of the Philippines has the vision of achieving full, decent, and productive employment for every Filipino worker. Its mandate involves promoting employment opportunities, protecting workers, and maintaining industrial peace.

Mandate
As the primary government agency for labor and employment, DOLE is tasked with promoting gainful employment, protecting worker welfare through just working conditions, and maintaining industrial peace by fostering harmonious relations between employers and employees.
Organizational Structure
- Office of the Secretary: Includes the Secretary, Undersecretaries, and Assistant Secretaries.
- Bureaus: Local Employment, Labor Relations, Working Conditions, Workers with Special Concerns, International Labor Affairs.
- Attached Agencies: NLRC, NCMB, OWWA, NWPC, TESDA, PRC, ECC, OSHC, ILS, etc.
- Field Offices: Regional Offices and Overseas Labor Offices.
